Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and WOWOO LTD, Unit 501 Leroy House, 434-436 Essex Road, London, England, N1 3QP (“Wowoo”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or using an App you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these Terms, these Terms prevail to the extent permitted.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for personal, non‑commercial purposes, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse‑engineer, resell or distribute the App, or use it to build a competing product.
2. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos and other material you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to process Your Content solely to provide the feature you requested. Your Content is deleted from our servers within 24 hours as described in the Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not include other people's images without their permission, images of minors that you are not the parent or legal guardian of, or any unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit or infringing material. We may refuse to process or remove content that breaches these Terms.
3. AI‑generated results
Results are produced by automated systems and may be inaccurate, unrealistic or unexpected. They are provided for entertainment. You are responsible for how you use and share generated output. You may not present generated images or videos as genuine depictions of real events, use them to deceive, harass or defame anyone, or use them for political or commercial impersonation.
4. Health disclaimer (NubX)
NubX uses a visual heuristic (“nub theory”) to estimate fetal sex from an ultrasound image. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice or a diagnosis, and its results are not guaranteed to be accurate. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional. Do not make medical or family‑planning decisions based on the App.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
- Some features require a paid subscription or one‑time purchase, billed through your Apple ID.
- Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by country.
- Where a free trial is offered, your subscription starts automatically and you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the displayed price until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.
- Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the App in a way that breaks the law, infringes anyone's rights, attempts to gain unauthorised access to our systems, circumvents usage limits or interferes with other users. We may suspend or terminate access for breach.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its software, design, trademarks and content (other than Your Content) belong to Wowoo or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Celebrity names and likenesses shown in Star by Face belong to their respective owners; the App does not imply any endorsement by them.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of an App at any time, and may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App and cancel any subscription.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Apps are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Apps is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
11. Apple
Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Apps. Apple and its subsidiaries are third‑party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers in the EU or elsewhere retain the protection of mandatory rules of their country of residence. Disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales or, if you are a consumer, in the courts of your home country.
